Why I built Mocha
A message from Raul, the founder
Hi, I’m Raul. I lead a team of Account Executives in Dublin and I’ve spent most of my career in sales.
I’ve sat on both sides of the hiring table. I’ve read hundreds of CVs, and I’ve sent out plenty of my own. Both sides taught me the same thing: the people who get the role aren’t always the best on paper. They’re the ones who aimed well, told their real story clearly and walked in prepared.
A coach, not a CV generator
Most AI tools will write you a polished CV in seconds. It sounds like everyone else’s, and sometimes it claims things you never did. Recruiters notice.
For my own team I built an AI coach that gives instant feedback on their calls and emails. Watching them grow made me want the same thing for job seekers: someone in your corner who remembers your story, tells you plainly where you fit and where you don’t, and helps you aim at roles you can actually win.
That’s Mocha. It works only from what you’ve really done. If your story is too thin for a good CV, Mocha asks you questions first instead of making things up.
How it’s paid for
